The Selby Fellowship, financed through the Selby Scientific Foundation and administered through the Australian Academy of Science, is open for nominations for senior scientists to travel to Australia from any part of the world.

The fellowship is awarded to distinguished overseas scientists to visit Australia for public lecture/seminar tours and to visit scientific centres in Australia. Up to AUD15,000 will be available to outstanding lecturers to contribute to public awareness of the physical and biological sciences and scientific issues. Though recipients will be requested to undertake their travels in 2021, this may be extended depending on the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic travel restrictions.
